- 1Book the visa appointment at the Czech Embassy / Consulate via visapoint / VFS Global CZ.
- 2Attend biometrics with: passport, admission letter, accommodation confirmation, proof of funds (CZK 124,500), health-insurance certificate.
- 3Collect the D-visa sticker; carry it on arrival to unlock the residence permit collection.

Many Czech landlords, dorms, and long-stay accommodation providers report new arrivals to the Foreign Police automatically as part of the check-in paperwork. Before assuming you need to visit Cizinecká policie in person, ask your accommodation provider whether they have already filed the address registration for you. If they have, no in-person visit is needed within the 3-day window.
